Kim Kardashian steps out in all-leather Met Gala look
Kim Kardashian added another moment to her Met Gala memories on Monday night.
The reality star and Skims founder hit the blue carpet in a leather two-piece set by Chrome Hearts that featured draped pearls and a structured neckline.
Kardashian accessorized her look with a matching leather hat, layered diamond necklaces, and diamond rings and earrings.
Monday marked Kardashian's 12th Met Gala appearance.
Prior to the event, she and her daughter North West posted a fun TikTok video with a fun transition revealing their Met Gala transformations.
While North West didn't attend the event, she took part in the pre-gala fun and got her hair and makeup done.
This year's Met Gala theme -- and corresponding Costume Institute exhibit theme -- was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."
The theme "take[s] the Black dandy as its subject, examining the importance of clothing and style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora," according to Vogue.
The dress code, which was inspired by the theme, was "Tailored for You," a "nod to the exhibition's focus on suiting and menswear, from specific silhouettes to various fabrics and accessories -- that is purposefully designed to both provide guidance and invite creative interpretation," according to a press release.
