The ultimate summer camp packing list: What every kid needs for camp

When it comes to summer camp, parents know one universal truth: The packing list is long, and forgetting even one item can lead to mid-session stress or a last-minute scramble.

From the surprisingly important (labeling everything) to the easy-to-overlook (hello, shower shoes!), here's what to pack to set your camper up for success.

Label everything
Before we even get to the gear, it's important to note that everything must be labeled. Clothes, water bottles, flashlights, toothbrushes… if it's going to camp, it needs a label.
This helps prevent lost items and ensures your camper comes home with what they left with. Waterproof and laundry-safe name labels are a game changer.
