He also faces murder charges in Utah. Atwood, who is also known by the surname Hill, was sentenced to 30 years in prison earlier this year after pleading guilty to burglary, kidnapping and robbery in the shooting of a woman during an attempted carjacking, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

McCluskey was resting on a sleeping bag, according to authorities. Welch attempted to reach for a firearm, authorities said at the time, however she was immediately disarmed. McCluskey was sentenced to life plus 235 years earlier this month, while Welch was given a 40-year sentence.
