Before Samantha Landwehr gave birth last month, the Illinois teacher shared her pregnancy journey with her elementary school students.

Landwehr told Storyful her young students eventually became "so invested" in her pregnancy that she would bring in sonograms to share with them and deliver updates ahead of her baby girl Hazel Ann's arrival.

One school day, Landwehr even paused while she was teaching because Hazel's kicks were particularly strong and shared the moment with the students.

She captured the students' sweet reactions in a social media video shared on April 7.

In the video, the students yell excitedly off-camera as Hazel kicks and moves around.

Samantha Landwehr shared a video of her elementary school students reacting as she felt her baby’s kicks during pregnancy.

"My class is ALWAYS trying to watch her move so when she was super active during math we had to stop and watch," Landwehr wrote in text overlaid on the video, which also depicts her own surprised reactions as she feels Hazel's kicks.
