Timothée Chalamet embraces the chaos outside MSG after Knicks' historic win
Timothée Chalamet might be a Hollywood star, but on Friday night, he was just another die-hard Knicks fan celebrating a historic win.
Following the New York Knicks’ 119-81 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Oscar-nominated actor was spotted outside Madison Square Garden, joining fans in a spontaneous street celebration.
Known for his courtside loyalty throughout the playoffs, Chalamet has been a regular fixture at home games this season and even traveled to Boston for Game 5 earlier in the week.
In videos circulating online, the "Dune" actor is seen hanging out of the side of a black SUV, cheering and laughing with fans as crowds packed the blocks surrounding the Garden.
Dressed casually in a blue and orange sweatsuit, he blended in with the swarm of energized New Yorkers, many of whom chanted and waved towels well past midnight.
The win marks the Knicks’ first trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 25 years.
The Knicks will face the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, on May 21 at MSG.
