Prince William, Kate Middleton celebrate 14th wedding anniversary in Scotland
Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary Tuesday in Scotland, the country where they fell in love.
William and Kate -- known in Scotland as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, their Scottish titles -- are on a two-day visit to the Isle of Mull, where they are meeting with locals and visiting community centers supported by their Royal Foundation.
The royals first met as students at St. Andrews University in Scotland over 20 years ago.

William and Kate started out as friends during their days as St. Andrews students in the early 2000s, and later became roommates.
They both studied art history and geography and shared a farm house with several friends.
Several years later, on April 29, 2011, William and Kate wed at Westminster Abbey in London in a ceremony watched by millions of people around the world.

They are now the parents of three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 7.
William and Kate traveled to Scotland solo, without their children. The two-day trip marks the first time Kate has included an overnight stay during an official engagement since completing treatment for cancer last year.
Kate, now 43, announced in January that her cancer was in remission. She has not shared publicly further details of her diagnosis or treatment.
