Famous actors, musicians and athletes are honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.

In posts across social media, stars commended the veterans for their bravery.

Instagram newcomer Matthew McConaughey used his third post on the social platform to honor veterans, using the hashtag #thankyouforyourservice.

NFL great Tom Brady posted a touching tribute to veterans on his Instagram: "At the end of the day we play a game, and it wouldn't be possible without the real heroes."

Tiger Woods paid tribute to his late father Earl Woods, who was a U.S. Army infantry officer, in his Veteran's Day post. "Grateful to my Pops, and all of you, for your service," he said.

Grammy-award winning country music star Tim McGraw honored several service members in his family that have served and are still serving.

John Cena, who recently pledged $1 million to support veterans through the FitOps initiative, posted a video tribute to veterans on Twitter.

David Arquette posted an emotional tribute to his "dear friend" Joey Paulk. "Thank you for your service and your sacrifice to this country," Arquette wrote.

Country singer Faith Hill honored a Green Beret veteran who frequents one of her favorite coffee shops in Tennessee. "How great would it be if we took the time to sit down with our veterans, visit and thank them for their service," Hill wrote.

Actress Tamera Mowry shared a picture of both of her parents while serving in the military. "I have an unbelievable amount of respect for the men and women who have served and who still serve this country," Mowry wrote.

Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father, who was a fighter plane pilot in the Navy. "Thanks to all the veterans that sacrifice everything for their country and family," Hawk wrote. "We wouldn't be here without you."

"Spider-Man" actor Tom Holland shared a photo with a group of Cleveland veterans, saying, "It's been a humbling experience getting to know you all and thank you so much for your support and service."

Comedian Jenny McCarthy shared a photo of a family member in uniform, writing, "Thank you to all of our Veterans who served to protect us all."

"The Office" actress and current "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Kate Flannery paid tribute to her father, a WWII infantry officer and a POW in Germany, in a touching Instagram post. "You are my hero," Flannery wrote.

Actor Donnie Wahlberg paid tribute to Carwood Lipton, whom he portrayed in the movie "Band of Brothers." Wahlberg wrote, "Hopefully, in some small way, my work serves as a tribute to the service that our military and women have done (and continue to do) for us."

Rapper Big Boi paid tribute to his father, a Marine who served in Vietnam and Beirut, in an Instagram post.
