Andy Samberg says the less you know about his new film 'Palm Springs,' the more you'll enjoy it
Andy Samberg says his new rom-com "Palm Springs" is full of surprises.
"I recommend going in knowing as little as humanly possible," Samberg said in a recent appearance on "Popcorn with Peter Travers," "because there's a lot of things that would then be surprising and more fun."
We can tell you that there's a Groundhog Day type theme to it. And there's romance.
"One of the main themes of the movie is how scary it is to take the plunge and have that leap of faith into a relationship where you give yourself to someone else," Samberg, 41, told Travers. "The foreverness of it is scary but arguably the most meaningful thing you can experience."

He added, "part of the reason I thought it would be so fun to play Niles, is he comes across at first as someone that has it all figured out. But the real truth is he's completely broken and given up. Floating in a pool with a beer for him, its like giving himself over to the void."
